Latitude test of Cinestill 50D

Hey everyone, in this video Mathieu Rabary will be testing the exposure latitude of the motion picture film Cinestill 50D made by Cinestill film.

For this test, Mathieu Rabary ran a roll of Cinestill 50D through his medium format camera, the Hasselblad 500c/m.

Cinestill 50D was originally Kodak’s motion picture film: Kodak Vision 3 5203 50D.

Cinestill removed the Remjet Layer so that this film can be processed in C-41 chemicals and was scanned on a Noristu HS-1800.
